This allows for a more thorough and accurate moisture detection analysis which, in turn, helps to determine what areas may be affected and how we can begin with the water extraction and dry out process.
Infrared cameras, when used in water damage situations, work by detecting differences in temperatures caused by moisture evaporation. Using these cameras gives our technicians a good idea as to where the water saturation may be. At this point, our technicians use a moisture reading meter which measures the level of saturation needed to identify the most saturated area to the least saturated area.
After thorough documentation of all moisture readings, ambient readings, measuring and sketching the affected area, our technicians are able to provide you with an accurate calculation detailing the exact equipment, such as air moves, dehumidifiers and air scrubbers needed. Therefore, we are able to efficiently and properly perform the water extraction, flood water clean up and to dry out the area as quickly as possible.
